“It’s the relationship that heals,” Irvin Yalom

Nour El Masry

My journey into psychotherapy began through my own experience of being in therapy and discovering how powerful it can be to be truly heard. Sharing my story — including moments of pain, anxiety, and growth — within a safe and trusting relationship helped me see myself and my relationships more clearly. This experience continues to shape how I work as a therapist today.

I am an integrative psychotherapist with an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and UKCP accreditation. I work with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and offer therapy in both English and Arabic, depending on what feels most natural and supportive for you. I provide online therapy across the UK and in-person sessions where available.

My work is grounded in an integrative approach, drawing on psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment theory, self-psychology, and transactional analysis. In practice, this means we may explore how early relationships shape present patterns, how you experience yourself with others, and what feels stuck or repeated in your life — always at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

I have experience working with clients facing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, identity concerns, and relationship challenges. I am attentive to how personal history, family dynamics, and cultural context can influence emotional wellbeing, while always holding each person’s experience as unique.

Alongside my clinical work, I am the Founder and Director of Arabic Therapists UK, a professional directory created to improve access to ethical, UK-based psychotherapy for Arabic-speaking communities. This work reflects my wider commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and high professional standards in mental health care.

I aim to offer a warm, reflective, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly, develop greater self-understanding, and build emotional resilience. I am committed to ongoing learning, supervision, and reflective practice, ensuring that my work remains ethical, thoughtful, and responsive.

Starting therapy can feel like a significant step, and finding the right therapist matters. You are welcome to get in touch to explore whether working together feels right for you.
