PTSD

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can emerge from experiencing trauma, and it doesn’t necessarily demand direct exposure to the event—just learning about the death of a loved one can be a trigger. The manifestation of PTSD varies from person to person, and not everyone will grapple with it after a traumatic incident

Symptoms of PTSD may surface immediately or gradually, encompassing vivid flashbacks of the traumatic event and a tendency to avoid intense feelings and memories by shutting them out. Individuals with PTSD may become more guarded, constantly anticipating triggers and feeling on edge.

As your therapist, my commitment is to create a safe haven for you to navigate the challenges of PTSD. Through empathetic support, we’ll work together to understand the impact of trauma on your life. Our journey will involve unveiling coping mechanisms tailored to your unique needs, helping you face triggers with resilience and fostering a path toward healing. You don’t have to navigate this alone; I am here to provide compassionate assistance as you reclaim control and rediscover a sense of peace.
